hagar 5
cheaper to buy than build , i looked into it once , unless you get a trailer for next to nothing , with knackered body , then replace with good marine ply or sheet steel with welded mesh, but think of time and expense it still not much cheaper

irishnut 297
i just finished making a trailer, get yourself a chassis from an old trailer tent, they are galvanised and have independent suspension already, i then got 3mm galvo sheet and bent it, in a u shape (sides and top), and bolted to chassis, put in 3/4" box section as a frame front and back then put a 3mm front and a rear door on, for the floor i used a sheet of 10mm recycled plastic, there is nothing to rust or rot, the metal cost 55 and plastic 15, chassis was free, a van roof spinning air intake, plastic mud guards and corsa alloys and its done in a day i also painted it with potasium plumbate before painting it green, it was way too shiney,it almost looks professional Edited November 21, 2009 by irishnut
